About the Book
This is a collection of journal writings by my grandmother, written throughout her lifetime about her experiences growing up and living in the midwestern United States. She mentions some interesting historical events of the 20th century and we get to see them in the context of her lifetime. We learn about her youth, her coming of age, finding a husband, raising a family together, and enjoying his retirement with him. She encountered some challenges in her later years, and together we grieve her loss when she is gone.
I served as co-author by arranging the writings in chronological order, making slight editorial modifications as needed, citing the sources she referenced, and including photographs to add to her story. She was one incredible woman and I hope you enjoy reading her story.

About the Creator
Suzanne Crane
San Diego, CA, USA
I graduated from San Diego State University with a MA in Communication many moons ago. I am now raising two small children with my husband of nine years. I work full-time outside of the home as an Education Consultant for an Analytic Software company and have been very fortunate to travel the world as a part of my career. "Stuff and Nonsense" is my first publication, which I co-authored with my grandmother when she was still living. My dream job is to write children's books.
