This book is a visual topographical survey about the area around the Metro Station South Hylton. Which is a terminus of the green line for the Tyne and Wear Metro in North East England. Since 2002 the Metro links the area with the City of Sunderland, Gateshead and as far north as Newcastle Airport. The suburban area of Sunderland lies on the banks of the River Wear and was a diversified industrial place in the time of the Industrial Revolution. The factories are gone today and it became a dormitory suburb.

This book is a observation of a zone that is important enough to have a good connection to the public transport network of the region, but is only as important to be on the edge of it.
