Martin Saban-Smith is a photographer with 10 years experience in many different disciplines and has had a studio in Alton since 2007. He has been seen capturing the modern memories of the town whenever possible.



In this book, Martin highlights some of the biggest events since February 2008 right up until the Yuletide Festival on 5th December 2010.



Presented chronologically, this brief recent history of Alton gives an impression of how vibrant the town is with a community spirit rivalling that of other towns. Many of the images have not been seen before.
