Roobén Goode (10) took these photographs while accompanying his parents on a trip to Ruili City and Banyang village in the Dehong Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, People’s Republic of China. His parents were working for Border Statements, teaching children from the village school theatre and circus skills, which they used to produce a show to present to their community. The area suffers from a high prevalence of heroin traficking and addiction, HIV and imprisonment.
