Along the windswept shoreline of the Bruce Peninsula South of Tobermory, Ontario – Canada, lies Warner Bay. This harsh environment, shaped by glaciers, wind, storms, waves, ice, snow, and a scorching sun, is, nonetheless a place of beauty. The beauty lies, on the large scale, in the sky, water and the shelves of rock. On a smaller scale, you find the flowers that thrive and announce themselves as small, brilliant dots of colour nestled in the cracks and crevices, seeking shelter from the elements where they can. All these contribute to a place of astonishing beauty.



Vera and Jeff Peters long ago saw this and acquired a property along the shore of Warner Bay. Through their generosity and hospitality over the years, my wife, Dayle, and I, and also some of my family, have had the pleasure of exploring this area. This book is a selection of photographs showing some of the beauty I have experienced here and had the good fortune to capture with my photographs.
