Barbara Johns the artist and Stehen Johns a retired Legal Adviser for Her Majesty's Courts Service retired at the earliest opportunity to do many of the things that regular work had prevented them from doing. One of them was extended travel. In addition to their passion for Telemarking they love exploring the wilder places of Norway on skis. In 2009/2010 they, with others, embarked on an eight month trip by road from London to Sydney. They are currently planning a trip to Nepal to do some more treking.
