    About the Book

    Edit

This is a family album to tell the story of a creative woman who lived from 1943 to 1976.

There are snapshots from Angela's childhood as well as some of her parents and their European background. There are pictures from her times in Africa and of her young family.

Angela was an artist who recorded her surroundings in picture and in word. In this small book, she is the main subject but some of her story has been told through her own pen and ink pictures.

The second edition has more photographs and pictures.

    The Wirral, England

Worked as a young doctor as a Government Medical Officer in Botswana. Spent most of my career caring for patients brought to hospital as emergencies. My design portfolio includes the preparation of material for lecture presentations and posters, internal publication of volumes of clinical guidelines and the production of family greetings cards over many years, using a wide variety of techniques. More recently I have held a brief to create and reinforce a brand image for the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. Now retired from clinical work, much of my time is spent organising and copying photographs, writings and art work collected over the years.
