I grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and married my high school sweetheart at the age of 20. My husband, Lee, joined the USAF a couple of years later and was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. "We" went to pilot training & traveled all over the Continental US. I worked in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a Parole & Probation Officer for several years. When "we" retired, I continued working as a probation officer in a small town in Texas. My husband went to work for Southwest Airlines in 1990 and retired at the mandatory age of 60. We have both our children & all our grandchildren in the Austin area & love being grandparents We spend the best times of the year (October - May) in Texas and May - October in Colorado. We are both loving retirement, but we seem busier now than we ever have been! Making Blub books is fast becoming a passion. I am a retired scrapbooker and this is a wonderful alternative!
