When Jennifer Truett mentioned on her facebook page that her horse was extremely ill and had foundered as a result, she also mentioned that it might require her to put the horse down.



My small part was giving Jennifer a portrait session with her horse that very weekend. She almost canceled the session, but with encouragement from Lenny and me, she was able to push through wiping away tears to express her relationship with Lydia. We made some wonderful portraits. Within two weeks she did have to put the horse down.



This is the story of Lydia and her life and accomplishments as well as her last days on this earth.
