This 122-page book contains scans of each page of a hand-written diary kept by Fred W. Power before, during and after the 1874 Black Hills "Custer" Expedition of July 2-Aug. 30 of that year.. Mr. Power was a correspondent for the St. Paul Press during this Expedition. A work in progress, this book has a few transcriptions and notes alongside some of the diary entries.
