About the Book
George is six and he has a best friend who is the same age as he is---his dog Jip. When you are six you are big enough for important jobs and George’s special job is to take Jip for a walk in the park every day. But one day the unthinkable happens---Jip disappears. George and his family do everything they can to find Jip, but when Jip does not come back, George decides to deal with the problem in a very unusual way.
This is the story of an adventure---but this adventure is not about a super hero or robots or magic. It is the adventure of a boy who has a problem and how he solves it.
