This book covers the Rio Grande Ski Train extensively from January 1984, the the last run on March 29, 2009. The train ran from Denver's Union Station to Winter Park during the Ski Season, along with excursions on some selected weekends during the Summer.



With the sale of the equipment to the Algoma Central Railway of Canada, a long time Colorado tradition came to a close. An aborted attempt to restart the service in December 2009 also failed and all is documented within.
