In the summer of 2008, I began photographing women outdoors, their faces close up, against

a plain background, using only the light of the sun. My goal and fascination is the true beauty and

history that every face radiates. We often forget what true beauty looks like. This book is a reminder

of that. Each photograph is straight out of the camera. None were edited or photoshopped.

Between July 3rd and November 25th of 2008 I photographed 36 women, which are

presented in this book. With each woman, their beauty tells a story.
