I was born in Belfast 1970 and grew up at the upper end of the Cavehill Road, the Cavehill itself effectively being my playground throughout my childhood and youth. After completing my School education, I moved to England where I had been offered a position as a manager for a large retailer. After 12 years in the South East of England and feeling troubled by life, I moved back to my home town of Belfast and found the Cavehill and the people of Northern Ireland in general to be the best.. Through circumstance I now live back in the South East of England where I find myself lucky enough to be contently married with 3 children. On a trip to Belfast with my family I tried to locate some literature on the Cavehill and found that there was almost nothing available.. I then took it upon myself put together the guide to the area. I have constructed the book with plenty of illustrations so that it may appeal to all who know or are from, the Cavehill.
