    About the Book

    Edit

My commitment to Osho’s wisdom “Our nature is consciousness” commenced in 1982 and I was blessed to be with him for eight years celebrating his central teaching of meditation. One of the most beautiful expressions is Om Mani Padme Hum meaning the “sound of silence”, the diamond in the lotus. Also I have been fortunate to hear Ajahn Sumedho of Amaravati Buddhist  Monastery talk on this and he called his book “The Sound of Silence”.

Also in the 80’s I was privileged to contribute to the foundational work on “Sustainable Development” at IBM that has now blossomed into “Smarter Planet”. In January 2010, the IBM Chairman spoke at Chatham House, London on how forward-thinking leaders around the world are capturing the potential of smarter systems to achieve economic growth, near-term efficiency, sustainable development and societal progress. In essence, IBM is offering to solve some of the world’s most significant problems!
