About the Creator
Earning his MFA from Yale University, I have been awarded fellowships to attend Yaddo artist residencies in 2001, 2002 and 2010. Museums collecting my work have included Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, Yale University Museum of Art, The Butler Institute of Art, The California Museum of Photography, Winnipeg Art Gallery and The Lowe Art Museum, Miami, Florida, among others. Solo museum exhibitions include the California Museum of Photography, the Butler Institute of American Art, Fotogalerie Wien, Vienna, the VELAN Center, Torino, Italy, and the University of the Arts, Philadelphia. I am represented by Jim Kempner Fine Art in New York, where I have been in numerous exhibitions, including a one person exhibition which was reviewed by Art in America in 2008. Group exhibitions include the Brooklyn Museum, the Contemporary Art Center, Cincinnati, Winnipeg Art Gallery, Sadler’s Wells, London, with Thomas Joshua Cooper, Exit Art.
