In the summer of 2008, ten students from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville left the US to study theatre in London, England. Under the guidance of Dr. Johanna Schmitz, PhD, we left thinking we were going to simply study theatre, but instead learned how to see. The book chronicles our journey, highlighting performances, lessons learned, and the impact the program had on our respective lives. Made You Look was the author's senior theatre project for SIUE.
