'My art researches the unknown to create an abstract canvas in colour and form.’ I moved to the USA from my native Germany in 1982. Twelve years between L.A. and N.Y. and a career in the fashion industry, my life was in full bloom. An unforeseen move to London was followed by an abundance of time due to the death of my husband. I really embraced art. Through my moves, the glamour of N.Y., the sun in L.A. and historical London, my creative and artistic instincts were thoroughly stimulated. Having painted since an early age, my art now became a life and career. As a primarily self-taught artist, my inspiration comes from intense colours and forms in everyday life. I work with oil, acrylic and watercolours in a wide range of work including murals, portraits, flowers in the fields, and lately abstracts. I am an artist fascinated by the universe and creation itself: reflection, diversification, experimentation.Work of mine "Galaxy on Ice’ was exhibited at the Royal Academy London 2007
