This is a gritty look at the remnants man has left strewn in his wake. The series of "landscapes" provide a survey of photographer Kaz McCue's travels and visual experiences of the past two years. "I'm drawn to the quietness of abandoned things and solace of deserted places. Unusual or quirky things always seem to grab my attention and I love to have the responsibility of documenting them."

Professionally, Kaz has been working as an artist for nearly two decades and is widely recognized as an accomplished talent. His work has been shown in numerous museums and galleries in New York City and the northeast and his work has been included in exhibitions as far away as Hawaii, England and Sweden. He has also received numerous grants and awards. Kaz is currently working on several independent visual projects that investigate such contemporary themes as: perspectives of the American male stereotype and attitude, innovation and exploration in contemporary printmaking, and the utilization of cultural objects and materials as creative narrative. Kaz received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography from Parson's School of Design in New York City and a Master of Fine Arts degree in mixed media (printmaking and sculpture) from Long Island University / C.W. Post Campus in Brookville, NY. He has worked as an educator and arts administrator for the past 17 years.
