About the Book
Ben and his friends set out for a walk in the woods when they find themselves lost. Through Ben's native teachings, he helps each of his companions find their own special talents by learning from the animals. As they begin to discover what 'animal medicine' they possess, they become more in tune with the natural world around them, losing their fear and finding the innate power that was inside them all along.

Mary-Anne Haupt is the author of Finding Home, a debut children's book offered with love and the hope that young readers will discover the wisdom alive within themselves. A high school teacher for over thirty years, she has dedicated her life to working with young people. Mary-Anne continues to teach, inspire, and mentor others through her transformative work at Heaven on Earth Healing Arts Centre and Rainbow Medicine Lodge Canada. Her storytelling is deeply rooted in helping children connect with the gentle guidance always waiting for them in the natural world. Mary-Anne lives in Cambridge, Ontario, with her husband Carlos and their beloved dog, Indie.
