In a country called U.R.K, the population lives under strict surveillance by a state that utilizes high tech bio-machines to enforce their oppressive laws. When Lila and Z, two members of a ragtag resistance group, end up having a deadly encounter with a C18 bio-machine, they must flee the city to find safety in a fledgling resistance community outside of the Enforcement Agency boundaries. However, while they make their escape reality starts to become unmoored, as Z experiences strange dreams; almost as if an ethereal figment of the bio-machine is trying to communicate with him.
