About the Book
In 2020 photographer Laura Atchison embarked on a 365 project, with a goal of taking a photograph a day for an entire year. The idea was to have her camera out every day, and to force herself to look harder, and get out of a creative rut.
Of course no one had any idea what that year would become. What our lives would become. She finally decided to consider them all as a cohesive narrative, and that’s reflected in this book.
You can see the changing landscapes and the increasing isolation that she felt along the way. And you can feel the hopeful notes in the porch photos and her determination to finish the project.
And now she has a record of a year that changed us all. That's worth remembering.
