Aynnemarie (Max) Carfagno was born to an Italian family on the deep north side of Syracuse, New York. Her roots are the inspiration for most of her writing and reflect the customs and beliefs that she grew up with. Her poems and short stories portray her life as she remembers it. No apologies.
