There is something special about instant film.

Unlike a digital photograph, there are no endless retakes, no perfecting every detail, and no waiting for the right moment to exist. The photograph simply happens. A small piece of time is preserved exactly as it was.

Over the years, Desnudo has become much more than a magazine. It has become a community of artists, models, friends, collaborators, and strangers who crossed paths for a brief moment and left a lasting impression. Through these pages are some of those encounters people wearing Desnudo, sharing conversations, creating memories, and becoming part of an ongoing story.

Every photograph in this book was taken on instant film by me, not to create perfection, but to celebrate presence. The imperfections, faded corners, unexpected colors, and fleeting expressions are what make these images meaningful. They remind us that life is not experienced in high resolution; it is experienced in moments.

This collection is a record of the people who helped shape the world around Desnudo. Some are longtime friends, some are first-time collaborators, and some were only in front of my camera for a few minutes. Yet each photograph represents a connection, however brief, that deserved to be remembered.
