60 years ago my Father, Chief Officer Graham Bastin Whitehead was lost at sea from the passenger liner Oronsay off the Island of Chios. The accident was at 01.15 am at the end of August 1966. I decided to return and pay my respects to all concerned and honour his life so sadly lost.
