About the Book
This is an account of how a painter, who had believed that photography was not a true art form like painting or sculpture, got to know the medium over the years. The story begins in Rochester, NY, in 2010 and ends with the latest of my work with the digital camera. Through photography, I explore my own genderfluidity and visual experimentation with the formal aspects of color and form through long-exposure light painting. In this book, you will see the photographic style that I developed through the lens of painting and the eye of a painter. Enjoy!
