Tokyo is the largest metropolitan area in the world, and as such is a place replete with symbols and signs, many unfamiliar to Western travelers. Photographer and writer Brian O'Neill unpacks his experience there by confronting a mysterious sequence of signs that seemingly hold no information. What is revealed is less about the meaning of the particular location, and more about the disposition of the traveler amidst advanced globalization.
