This magazine brings together some of my favorite photographs I’ve taken over the past few years. Years that I've spent quietly battling chronic myeloid leukemia. I was diagnosed in August of 2021, and since then I’ve turned to photography as a way to remind myself of what exists beyond the walls of my home. The days when the disease or its treatment left me fatigued and confined to bed. On those days, I needed something tangible something that could hold hope for me. These photos became small windows of light, reminders that the world is still out there, glowing, breathing, and waiting and that I am still a part of that light. I shared these images with friends who told me perhaps there's someone on the other side of the globe who needs your light.
