When I was a kid, I enjoyed poetry. One of my favorite poets was Langston Hughes. He wrote a poem called, "An April Rain Song" that stays with me every time it rains. When it does, I look out the window and "Let the rain kiss you" comes front and center and I imagine what it means to "Let the rain beat upon your head". And that's exactly what I did on one rainy day in Northern California. This part of the world is so beautiful but it is taken to another level when it rains.
