About the Book
Thresholds is a collection of three photographic projects I worked on several years ago. For a long time, I never found the right place for them, but I eventually decided to bring them together.
These works include portraits taken in a residential high-rise, images of sleepers encountered through online live streams, and photographs made in various unexpected places, none of them entirely what they seem.
Suspended between foreignness and familiarity, they reflect on presence, distance, and the fragile boundaries that both separate and connect us to the world. This book gathers them into the quiet space they hold for me.
