About the Book
The story of my Dad’s experiences with the Ninth Division during WWII from basic training to campaigns in North Africa, Sicily, Normandy, Northern France and Ardennes (Battle of the Bulge). Includes photos he took at Fort Bragg as well as photos of the beaches of Normandy. Also includes information on the important Tunisian battle at Thala in which his unit, 84th Field Artillery Batallion, Battery C, fought to a significant victory against the German enemy. Shown in the book are his medals and ribbons, including the rarely awarded Soldiers Medal.
