    About the Book

    Edit

A visual exploration of Earth's Shell Forms which uses both x-ray and traditional reflective-light color photos, often compared or blended together. It focuses most on the classic Mollusc shapes, but also delves into the recent Anthropocene shellforms taking over the oceans. Discussion of shell parts, colors, textures, families, and taxonomy. Does not shy away from ecological, mythical, and philosophical implications, which are given from an outsider universalistic perspective.

I am open to working with traditional publishers. I live in Lancaster, MA, where I help my aged folks tend the gardens which supply specimens to x-ray and endless wonder.
