About the Book
One Lens. One Camera. One Film Stock. One Weekend.
This zine documents a single weekend in New York City, photographed under a strict constraint: one camera, one lens, one film stock, and no alternatives.
Working with a Leica M6, a Voigtlander 35mm lens, and Kentmere Pan 400, the project explores what happens when choice is reduced and each decision carries more weight. The focus isn’t on testing equipment or achieving coverage, but on attention, judgment, and commitment in real time.
The images that follow are an edited record of that weekend—partial, specific, and intentionally limited. Together, they reflect an approach to photography that values process as much as outcome, and constraint as a way of seeing more clearly.
This volume is part of the ongoing Why Film? project.
