About the Book
Esoteric Egypt. This book is a unique perspective of Egypt's finest endeavor. As a professional land surveyor, the author took part in the restoration of the Sphinx Project and the mapping of the Giza Plateau from 1981 through 1982. We explore some of the more important monuments in Egyptian history with images from areas and landmarks usually not accessible to the general public. With a flair for an artistic expression and a modern perspective on the mysteries of ancient Egypt, the aim is to offer an insider's look that may throw light on an ancient civilization that has baffled mankind throughout the ages. We travel from the Great Pyramid of Cheops and the Sphinx, down to Luxor and Aswan. Included are visits to some of the temples along the Nile and the Valley of the Kings. With a current viewpoint and a fresh interpretation of the mysteries, it is hoped this publication can fill some gaps in the history of Egypt.
