    About the Book

    Edit

Lodan is a London based Alternate Universe (AU) Victorian era steampunk Role Playing Game (RPG). After the Industrial Revolution took flight, a portal from the shadow world opened up and a bunch of 'other beings' (known as Andersweltlers) cross over into the city. Tech and Magic clash where the locals of Lodan are steam revolutionist all about technology and human sovereignty, and the newcomers are all about Magic and sanctuary. It is a dog eat dog world where five guilds, with variable *ahem* membership, fight for power. Which guild you join depends on your speciation (Human or Andersweltler) and your moral compass. Join Steampunk Pirates and Thieves, Entertainers and Assassins, Merchants and Mechanics, Historians and Mages, or the Royal Army and unravel your destiny.

    About the Creator
    fictionaa
    Antonia Arcella-Perry

USN veteran, full time producer, part time artist and author whose greatest creative joy comes from cocreating with others in collaborative written and illustrated fictional worlds. The Lodan books originate from the creators website link. The forums serve as a central hub for its vibrant role-playing community. They feature extensive world-building and character-driven narratives set in a steampunk fantasy universe. The forums are structured around various guilds like the Brotherhood of Rogues (BoR), with guild leaders such as Caitlin Cogford and her 2nd in Command Ikuze Storm. Players develop intricate characters and participate in guild-centric missions, trials, and city-spanning events. The threads often include collaborative storytelling, art contributions, and discussions about guild alliances, rivalries, and city politics. Beyond role-playing, the forums are a hub for sharing concept art, world-building ideas, and community interaction.
