Wright Mill Road is a simple dirt path, just big enough for one car to navigate that cuts though acres of non-developed land in the mountains of North Georgia.



But beyond the beauty of the trees, fields and streams, it's always been a magical place for author Kate Awtrey, who can trace many of the major events of her life to that old country road.



From driving a car for the first time to gathering a bucket of pet tadpoles, the things that have happened on and around Wright Mill Road have helped shape the author's life.
