Mary Ann received her elementary education at Gage School in Topeka, KS. She attended high school in Lyons, Kansas, Oklahoma City, OK, Yokohama, Japan and graduated from Emporia High School in Emporia, Kansas in 1954. She later graduated from Hill's Business College in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She has served as a volunteer for Hospice and is an Oblate of St. Benedict Priory. She has played an active role in the lives of her four children and eleven grandchildren and became a great grandmother in the year 2000.. Her hobbies have been golf, traveling, needlework, gardening, cooking special recipes for her family and genealogy.
