This book contains photos and descriptions of trips that we took, over a two-decade period, in locations north and south of the mainland United States. In Nova Scotia it includes Peggy's Cove and Cape Breton Island. Hikes in the Rockies explored Banff and Jasper National Parks. A Sierra Club trip included some travel in Guatemala as well as Belize. Maho Bay is on the island of St. John, in the U. S. Virgin Islands. The North Carolina Natural History Museum sponsored the trip to Andros, one of the Bahamas' islands; and to the Galapagos, in Ecuador. Ken's college roommate organized a trip to Peru's Amazon and Andes Mts. areas (including Machu Picchu) for the International Wood Collectors Society. The photos in Montreal are of the topiary display.
