About the Book
I made this photo book as part of the Internet event SoFoBoMo 2009.
SoFoBoMo is short for Solo Photo Book Month. This is the second year the event is arranged, and more than 700 photographers have signed up to produce a photo book in a month. Last year, 170 signed up and 60 completed. The month can be any 31-day period between May 1 2009 and June 30 2009. Nothing but planning may be prepared in advance; all photographing, text writing and layout work must be made during this fuzzy month, and the final result must be provided as a PDF file. My SoFoBoMo month started on the 10th of May. All pictures were captured in Lund and Malmö, two nearby towns in the south of Sweden. I used a Leica Digilux 3 camera and two lenses,
a Leica D Summilux 25mm/ƒ1.4 and a Lensbaby Composer (50mm/ƒ2).
So here it is, my first photo book. It’s about bicycles, a very common vehicle in the region where I live. It’s also a reflection, a personal one, of bicycles and their owners.
