Appreciating art and understanding its meaning is a matter of perception. Our perceptions are unique, and the interpretation of a perceived impression will vary among us, even when we believe we are discussing the same object. Interpreting and valuing an artwork is always "About You" and depends on your personal interpretation.
If you create an artwork, it is evident that it is also "About You." The artist expresses his/her particular vision, open to a variety of interpretations.
How can we understand each other when we all have different perceptions and unique interpretations? This is the magic of art. As human beings, we share a common understanding of the interpretation of sensations, emotions, and meanings, which is not rooted in rational skills.
