Rik Andersen
Canyon, Texas
Rik Andersen is a photographer. He currently resides in Canyon, Texas, with wife Amy and shelties Molly and Bailey. Along with his own freelance business, he is the university photographer at West Texas A&M University. Considered a photo generalist, Andersen photographs everything from award presentations to promotional materials for the university, with a healthy dose of sports, research, facilities, mugs and environmental portraits thrown in. Andersen holds an associate’s degree in photography and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts and Sciences. He was the 1999 Clarence E. Thompson Award winner at West Texas A&M University. This award is given to the outstanding staff member of the year.
