Although Andreas grew up in California, he always looked towards the mountains of the north and the deserts to the east for adventure and rejuvenation. He has been photographing for over 40 years, touring destinations such as Yosemite and the High Sierra, southern Utah, Death Valley, Washington State, and Alaska. Having started out with a tried-and-true Minolta SRT-101 loaded with Kodak Plus-X and Kodachrome, today he uses Canon and Sony mirrorless digital cameras.
