About the Creator
I am a writer, journalist and fashion designer based in the Northern Rivers of Australia. I am also a mother of two and a long-time creative, working across storytelling, design and visual culture. I grew up in a Vedic-based spiritual community in the region, one of nine siblings, immersed in nature, ritual and alternative ways of living. That unconventional upbringing, shaped by Ayurveda and diverse spiritual traditions, instilled a deep curiosity about identity, culture and the stories we tell about ourselves and our communities. After spending many years living and working overseas, I returned to the Northern Rivers to raise my daughters and build a creative career rooted in place. I currently write on arts, culture, community and lifestyle, alongside my work as a designer and visual storyteller. I write under the name Rada Campbell, and have previously been published as Rada Priya. More of my work can be found at www.radapriya.com.
