I made it through one of the most trying and tumultuous seasons of my life. Truth? I actually never thought I would. The ever-present cloud of depression knows how to settle in and take up full residence - most times, without our permission. When I noticed the road was getting too rough, I did the only thing I could. I turned to my pen.

If anything was obvious, it was that I had to clean house. Some things had been living rent-free in my life for far too long. Ultimately, they had to conclude their assignment if I was going to live.
