Jaydee Saliba, a third-year Art Student and model, finds her room is haunted by Ashley Bookbinder, the ghost of a former occupant. Angry that he can’t leave her room and discovering that a Teaching Assistant in a required class won’t teach women, she accidentally sends one wing of the men’s dormitory, including the hated TA’s room and her best friend’s boyfriend, into another dimension.

Nowhere, in the known history of The Path, is there any record of such powerful magic. The ancient headmaster cannot believe the unremarkable Jaydee could have caused the disaster and won’t accept her help to bring the dorm and the men inside back from the Otherworld.
