I've tried studying it before, the book of Job. But this time around, the distractions from the lawn mower next door and the very annoying bird outside my window just didn’t take my attention like the words on the pages. When your heart is fully surrendered to gathering the “meat of the book,” you develop a rhythm in which the Lord is leading you toward. A rhythm that looks different for each believer. A rhythm that sometimes doesn’t fully make sense even to the musician, but when God Himself is the artist behind the song… yeah, that’s when dry bones come to life. That’s when enemy made chains are broken. That’s when freedom in Jesus is truly felt. This is my perspective on the book of Job, and my song sounds a little like this…
