In a fresh palette of color, “Growing Up Jewish – Art and Storytelling” invites the viewer into the re-imagined photo albums of artist Jacqueline Kott-Wolle, who converts old family snapshots into contemporary works of art. Together with her written reflections on being Jewish, Kott-Wolle takes the viewer on a journey into her grandmother’s kitchen at Passover, her Zeidi’s textile store, her summer camp, her Hebrew school and the warm embrace of her Holocaust survivor relatives who regarded the artist and her siblings as nothing short of a walking miracle on earth.
