Essentially: this book is a collection of fiction and nonfiction stories from Katerina's middle school through high school years.

This book has two sections: fiction and nonfiction, and each is ordered from oldest to newest writing. This means, hopefully, the pieces get better as you go! Whoo Hoo! Second, in the nonfiction section, all the stories are completely true and based on personal experience. The fictional section ranges from fever-dream-like stories to ones that were crystal clear in my head. In this section, you’ll also find an excerpt of a piece I worked on for over three years in middle school. For nearly every story, you’ll find a reflection or additional piece of writing from when I last edited it. Lastly, there is a small section at the end of the book with quotes from pieces that didn’t make the cut but had some pretty interesting messages.
