      About the Book

      Edit

Becca Yenser’s "Constellation of Wounds" beams bright shimmering points of light through the darkness of loss, the erratic connections that pull us together then tear us apart, and the humdrum daily routines that comprise a life. From the seemingly innocuous contents of our refrigerators to the deepest losses that shape our very being, this slim book explores the secret truths of our universe and the expansions and contractions that make us human. Think Lydia Davis’ experimental explorations of the quotidian and Denis Johnson’s life-affirming last lines, but in the stellar prose, form, and line-work that makes Yenser’s voice distinctly their own.

      Bone & Ink Press
      Racine, WI, USA

Bone & Ink Press is a small press based in southeastern Wisconsin, founded in 2017. We are committed to publishing the works of marginalized writers. We are committed to publishing writing that startles like a shout in the street. We aim to publish at least four titles per year--some combination of anthologies, books and chapbooks by individual authors, micro-chaps, zines, etc. And what do we mean by we are committed to publishing the works of marginalized writers? We mean that we are looking for thrilling feats of (literary) derring-do by LGBTQ+ writers, writers of color, women, disabled writers, neurodivergent writers, immigrant writers, immigrant writers/people writing in English as a second language, etc. We're not making any rules like "we'll never publish anything by a straight white guy," but we will be focusing on publishing writers who are underrepresented in some way.
