BPP is an independent publishing group founded in 2019 by artist & illustrator Laura Ury. Laura, along with her inspiring co-authors aim to combine both good story telling with traditional values and character building lessons for children. Teaching children to see sacred truths in these little story vignettes is an essential part of the purpose and mission of Blue Paw Press. All of the illustrations and character designs are original paintings by Laura Ury either in oil or watercolor wash. Academically trained artist, ​Laura Ury is a versatile painter and illustrator, ​working on commission through her studio, A Touch of Blue.
